Welcome back everyone to another fun week of Bizarre Wedding News! These articles key you in on some of the weirdness going on in the world of weddings. Depending on the week, we bring you monsters, tragedy, humor, tips, and most importantly--cake. Alas we do not have any of that goodness this week, but we do have plenty of celebrity news to get excited about, so let’s dig into it!

Celebrity weddings gather astronomical coverage when it comes to paparazzi, fashion sites and, well, sites like our own. Miranda Lambert, who has certainly had her fair share of time in the spotlight, just wants to enjoy some privacy with her new hubbie, Brendan McLoughlin.
Married for about four months now, the newlyweds have tried their hardest to slip by photographers and the like, culminating in a little incident where Lambert asked a reporter, “If I say something, will you leave please?” Taste of Country does, however, bring up why their marriage would garner a touch more inquisition, “it's hardly surprising that interest is high regarding Lambert's new union. The quickie wedding has many scratching their heads in regards to its speed and remarkably hidden status.” What are your thoughts? Should celebs have a little more right to privacy?
Were you starting to wonder about the Jonas Brothers and how we haven’t talked about them for a while? Well don’t you worry: they have been up to plenty this year and will get to them in due time. On top of what feels like every brother getting married this year, they have officially reunited and released some new music. Most notably, their song ‘Sucker,’ which just so happens to feature the brothers’ wives.
That’s right: their catchy new song stars Kevin, Nick and Joe, along with Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Pryianka Chopra. Of course the bigger news is that Sophie got hitched to Joe, but that’s a story for later.
Whenever we hear word of The Bachelor, we wonder what sort of gossip and scandal is going on. Luckily, this time there is something actually pretty cool. Bachelor Ben Higgins (who went after Lauren Bushnell), is now hosting a wedding event called “The Wedding Party.”
Essentially, he is taking a group of 12 couples to the Denver Polo Club in Colorado for a big, joint wedding. Explaining that he loves marriage and wants others to get married too, he said that this will allow some to do it for a “fraction of the cost.” Check out the article for more details on how to sign up. Perks are included, but the price tag is a little hefty (but certainly nowhere near planning you own).
I don’t know about you, but I always seem to forget that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged. Make whatever joke you want about seeing fireworks, “roaring” with excitement or what have you, but apparently the singer wants the legendary Lionel Richie to perform at their wedding, who is also a coworker of Perry on American Idol..
During an interview on Live With Kelly and Ryan, this prospect was brought up, with Richie saying, “I am so into our little marriage here, that I’ve gotta tell you I just feel like we’re part of the family.” While that seems vague, we’re holding onto hope that he will in fact perform. Fireworks not necessary.
