In case you have forgotten all about Justin Bieber over the last couple years, it’s probably because after all that time in the spotlight he kind of disappeared. His recent romance with Hailey Baldwin (now Bieber) has brought his name back up and rightfully so. The two are head-over-heels for each other and now they are married for a second time. Having already been married for over a year (they tied the knot last September), the two held a second ceremony just at the end of this September.

Their official second date was September 30, and their lavish affair was held at the Montage Palmetto Bluff, a waterfront resort in South Carolina that is just jaw-dropping. After being rather candid about their marriage over the last year, both describing the difficulties of adjusting to matrimony, the two seemed exuberant on their second big day. We wish them the best! Be sure to check out the article for all the nitty-gritty details!

A very scary near-death incident kicks off this next story. Back in May, a Scottish woman, Carlone, had just been recovering from a kidney infection when she found herself even more worse for wear. Unable to get warm, shaking uncontrollably and losing consciousness, Caroline was diagnosed with Sepsis. Five days in the hospital later, and she was able to return home.

Several weeks later, Caroline was hitched to Phil. Crediting the saved-life to the ambulance crew that helped her out, she donated the top tier of her wedding cake to them. This is seen as a huge honor, as often the top tier is saved to celebrate the first child or anniversary (the couple already had two kids). We are sure glad that the ordeal did not ruin the wedding day! Congrats to the two and here’s to a year of wellness!

Imagine that your wedding day has gone perfectly. No crazy exes showed up, the in-laws were on their best behavior and you didn’t drop the ring. But then you get to your reception and someone who you don’t even know (namely a waiter at the venue) proceeds to attempt a silly champagne trick resulting in a ruined (five tier) wedding cake. Not only did the waiter’s stunt send a geyser of champagne all over the courtyard, but it also caused the towering cake to topple to the ground.

It’s an admittedly shocking moment, and I cannot guarantee I would have kept my cool if it were my wedding. Though, it can be said that if it’s only the cake that got ruined, there are plenty worse things that could have been instead!

How upset would you be by all of this? What sort of refund would you demand for some tomfoolery? Let us know below and be sure to check out the blood-boiling video!

Here’s a truly debate-inspiring article. Back in August, a couple was invited to a wedding for someone they knew. As it is detailed in an “anonymous post” on Reddit, the writer claims, “we were invited from 2pm, so we duly arrived in time for that. We were surprised to be invited to the day, but knowing what a flakey friend the bride has been over the years, I could understand why she might be struggling to fill a room these days.”

Having RSVPed, the couple assumed everything was in the right and even had a “lovely chat” with the bride after the ceremony. It was them that things turned rather bizarre. Following this, one of the bridesmaids came over to and announced to the couple “but you’re not supposed to be here until the evening and the bride is freaking out because there’s no place setting for you.”

Being smart enough to not exactly trust the bride(zilla?) they had brought the physical invitation, which they produced. Though, “rather than accept the mistake and try to accommodate us, she just kept saying how awkward this is.” So the two left, but not without being physically (and embarrassingly) separated from the rest of the group who made their way into dinner. Being smart enough yet again, they left…along with the gift they had purchased for the newlyweds.

Personally, I agree wholeheartedly with the couple. They had almost predicted this to happen, too. If someone from your past who you have not had much contact with over the years all of a sudden invites you to your wedding? Be skeptical, it may prove to be better off for everyone.

So, what do you think? Did the couple handle this properly? What would you have done if you were them? What about if you were the bride/groom? Lots to think about!

There you have it for this week, folks. We hope you have enjoyed these stories as we get farther and farther away from the hot summer sun.
