Welcome back for Part Two of our Favorite Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies! While we are enduring the rain and cold creeping over our state, let us take a trip back to some warmer, happier times and visit some more outdoor weddings! This installment is going to take us to man-made lakes, golf courses, a secluded inn and even a few more farms thrown into the mix. No more talking, let us get back to the countdown!

Wilson Wedding

The Wilson wedding was particularly special because Radar Lake was actually made by Mallory Wilson’s uncle, Herb O’Brien, back in the 70s. It was one of the first ever man-made lakes created for the express purpose of water sports, and has proven to be tons of fun ever since. Check out the drone footage to get an idea of the awesomeness that Radar Lake has to offer.  Unfortunately Herb passed away in 2012, so this wedding holds extra sentimental meaning.

This purely magical day was blessed with exceptional weather and a breathtaking venue. In a clearing near the head of the lake, trees were littered with string lights and dozens of chairs were brought in to witness this fairytale occasion. With the hot summer sun filtering through the branches and leaves, we could not help but fall in love too with such a wonderful day.

Jackson Wedding

Faberfarm is like someone took a midwest farm and planted it right about an hour north of Seattle. The landscape that surrounds the farm makes you think of a simpler time where you could ride your horse for miles and miles. Held out in a patch of land just before the actual farming grounds begin, the ceremony was simple and sweet. Wood chairs were brought out for the family and friends to sit, while the groomsmen and bridesmaids flanked the altar.

With everyone looking superb, especially the groomsmen in their jacketless vests and the bridesmaids in neutral pinks and beiges, it was time to get hitched. And what a splendid ceremony it was for the Jacksons who are now celebrating their four month anniversary!

Shubha and Mike’s Wedding

The Fremont Foundry has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the city, not only because it’s near the Troll and Theo Chocolate Factory. Though you might not expect it from its exterior, the Foundry is stunning on the inside, but particularly the rooftop where the ceremony was held.

Shubha and Mike’s August wedding was a celebration of two worlds meeting, as well as two loves finally becoming one. With lovely Hindi attire, the bride and groom dazzled in a variety of reds and creams. The rooftop, overlooking the central part of Fremont, also offers glimpses of the Aurora bridge in the distance and is a perfectly intimate environment for city lovers to get married in peace and quiet. After the ceremony, the rooftop also provided the perfect place for a reception on such a perfect summer night!

Wetzler/Ashby Wedding

All the way up in the tiny town of Mazama is the Freestone Inn where we saw the Wetzler/Ashby wedding. This charming venue is about as far away from a major city as we have ever been for a ceremony. Breathtaking views of the surrounding Cascades and a lazy lake made for one heck of a backdrop where the bride and groom met in one of the most casual weddings we have witnessed.

The groom rocked just a short sleeve shirt and khakis, while the bride wore a beautiful wedding dress. The groomsmen and bridesmaids also shied away from formality and looked lovely in casual attire. Who needs all the sophistication when you are surrounded by loved ones? The following reception let everyone get up to their own shenanigans as an awesome band (The Side Project) belted out renditions of some of our favorite songs. Giandomenico Wedding

It did not cross our minds when we went to the Camas Meadows Golf Course that it would be like watching a wedding in someone’s backyard. A literal stone’s throw away from Oregon, Camas is right along the Columbia River and is assuredly a gorgeous venue. The quaint ceremony at the course was held at a gazebo with the audience sitting under a tent.

The bridesmaids stunned in lavender gowns, while the gents sported grey suits for a great contrast. The spiritual and all-too emotional wedding saw the Giandomenicos open themselves up to each other, their loved ones and to God. By the end, the tears were starting to trickle out, but not too long after the officiant gave the words for the two to kiss finally becoming man and wife.

Bishbeat Wedding

The final wedding for this installment was the Bishbeat wedding, which was super unique in that these two created their own last names! That is right: Chloe Beaty and Tyler Bishton got married and combined them! But we are not here for their names: we are here for their outdoor ceremony at Genesis Farm and Gardens! This sweet venue in Enumclaw proved to be utterly perfect for their wedding. So full of emotion, particularly once Chloe started reciting her vows, the two joked around like the best friends they are.

Taking it to the extra mile, doves were released at the end of the ceremony! You thought that only happened in the movies, didn’t you? It was so poignant and infectious that we could not help but get swept up too! The following reception kept on the bliss for a spectacular rest of the afternoon.
