“Great experience, very professional and excellent value! We had a great experience with Best Made Videos! This review is long overdue but we got married 7/2019 and had a great experience with Reid and his team. From my initial contact with Reid he was very responsive and made sure to touch base with us throughout the planning process to make sure we were on track. On the actual wedding day we had such a great time - endless laughs and helped to put us at ease on our big day! The edited highlight reel was wonderful and really captured the spirit of the day. One of the things that I appreciated the most about Best Made Videos was that we received ALL of the video that was shot that day. This was absolutely priceless to get to look back on so many moments- especially some amazing dance floor videos!”

We are hardly even a month out of wedding season and I gotta be honest: we really miss it. That is not to mean we do not have weddings continuing on through fall and winter, but these past few windy and cold days have been rather rough. With the sun only peeking through in spots, blustering winds knocking branches down and near-daily rain now, it is, quite simply, unpleasant. So, I think we should take a trip back to the end of July where we visited the San Juans and saw the Fakkemas get married!

Perched right on the lip of a little bay in the East Sound on Orcas Island, Rosario Resort is precisely as nice as it sounds. Offering both indoor and outdoor venues, this time of year would not be bad at all to get wed in the gorgeous Sound. As summer would have it, we had a lovely sunny day to greet us for the wedding.

We knew it was going to be a fun day when the bubbly was popped and the groom started asking for a beer. With breathtaking views of the water, the bride and groom got fixed up looking something pretty sweet. In a navy suit and grey tie, Ryne looked like a prince waiting for his princess. Their first look took us around the bay, ultimately winding up on an overlook out across the water.

There was time for some group shots down near the lapping waves, which also meant time for plenty of shenanigans. The guys really brought their best material, particularly one audacious moment that will make you burst out laughing. Once all the giggles and smiles (accentuated by some beer) had taken off any remaining stressors of the day, it was wedding time.

Overlooking the water, it is to the point where it looks like the whole wedding is floating out to sea. Delivering their vows, it was clear to see that these two are crazy for each other. Plus, any mention of The Office in wedding vows automatically earns our admiration. Soon enough, the magic words were delivered and the kiss sealed the deal; Ryne and Jenna officially became husband and wife.

Naturally, what came next was more bubbly. Popping corks over the Sound, the venue was a sight to behold. Descending from above into the little clearing right on the water, the newlyweds made their triumphant reappearance. Dinner down by the water was utterly amazing, and once everyone was full it was time to head up inside for the cake-cutting and dancing.

After the traditional dances were completed, everyone else got to hopping on the dance floor. It seems like there wasn’t anybody sitting the first couple songs out, and the whole group was having a blast. Yet the worst part of the wedding day is when it has to come to an end, though it’s hardly a bad thing at all when it was such a grand time.

Thank you again to Ryne and Jenna for choosing Best Made Videos® to film their wedding day! We hope your first three months of marriage have been amazing.
