"Best Made Videos was great and easy to work with. Answered all of my questions and tailored my videos to exactly what I wanted. The day was a whirlwind for me so it was so nice to watch the beautiful highlight video and see details I missed. I highly recommend Reid and his team! I am so so happy to have these wonderful videos!"

Winter weddings can be tough here in the Pacific Northwest. On top of it already likely to be raining, this last year in particular also saw us inundated with an absurd amount of that fluffy white stuff that falls from the sky. At even the slightest whiff of snow, mass panic spreads throughout the reason and you best bet you want to avoid any roads...especially with hills. But at the same time, there’s nothing quite like a beautiful lodge such Mountain Springs blanketed in that fluffy snow. That’s what the Floms got on their wedding day.

Make no mistake, it was cold. The drone footage shows off a frozen pond and a winter wonderland for Sarah and Caleb to tie the knot in…literally. Seldom do we have outdoor weddings in the winter. Seldom do we actually have the bride and groom standing in the snow itself. But seldom do we meet families like the Floms, so we’re always willing cross things off our bucket list!

Staying inside the wood lodge for as long as possible, while also sipping away at whiskey, the morning flew by before it was time to head on out into the cold air for the first look. Looking regal in his uniform, Caleb waited for his bride on a snowy road, complete with a dusted wooden fence. Trying their best to look warm and cozy (while we were shivering ourselves), we had them walk around the area that feels like it would be thousands of miles from Seattle.

Not the have anyone else left out of the frigid fun, we got the rest of the party out for some group shots. As the snow started to whizz around, we headed back for a bit of a reprieve to let the snow die down. Soon enough it was time to hop in the sleigh...yes, you read that right...and head off to the wedding. Standing against the frozen pond, with the sleighs zipping across the fields behind them, it was really an unforgettable sight.

Once all was said and done, and following some lovely vows, the lovebirds finally got permission to kiss. So they did, and they all piled back into the sleigh for some warmer abodes. After we got inside, it was finally time to sign the paperwork to make this thing really official. A fire raging, tables set and the drinks flowing greeted the guests before the arrival of the newlyweds.

Delicious food warmed us even more, and soon it was time to open up the dance floor for a night of celebration. After the purple lights came on, and everyone got to their feet, it all flew by in such a wonderful blur of getting jiggy with it and happy memories.

Sarah and Caleb's story in their own words:

How did you guys meet?

We met on a Bumble, the dating app. Our first date was at McMenamins Anderson School and it lasted 6 hours!

Tell us about the proposal!

My whole family went to Kauai last February to celebrate my parents' 60th birthdays. While there Caleb proposed on the beach right after sunset. Somehow we were the only ones on the beach at that time!

Why did you choose your venue?

I have always wanted a snow/winter wedding and that venue had a perfect feel, plus it was one of the only ones that allowed outdoor snow ceremonies. I also loved how many people could stay onsite for the whole weekend.
