“We love it!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!”

Located near the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, and nestled right in the Cascade Mountains, Mountain Springs Lodge is a stunningly gorgeous venue that takes quite a bit of time to get to--but it undoubtedly proves worth the wait! With dozens of local suggestions for cakes, florists, photographers and more, the Lodge also aims to source all of the food locally too. Worried about booze? They have got you covered on that too! No minimum order required!

Just four days before Christmas, the Sheridans wed up in the frigid cold mountains. Blanketed in snow and decked out for the holidays, the lodge looked so warm and inviting after a the long drive up into the white-capped mountains. A morning of keeping warm by sipping champagne and staying away from the snow allowed for a rather chilly first look outside.

We’re not quite sure where Allysa got the fortitude to stand outside in the wintery weather for their epic, snowy first look, but sure enough she trekked her way through the snow, sleeveless and all, to meet her groom. It was cold even for us, and we had jackets and boots!

I hate to say it, but this really was a white wedding with the stark white dress out amongst the soft, delicate snow. If that wasn’t cold enough for you, we were right on the shores of a lake with the wind whipping through the area. I’m getting shivers just watching the footage! But boy, what a beautiful location for a first look, accentuated perfectly by our soaring drone footage.

Soon the rest of the party headed outside. The boys looked warm but the snow proved a little tough to maintain a footing in. Even with fiery red dresses the ladies looked a little chilly, and there’s really no blaming them! Luckily, it was time to get married!

Inside in a vastly warmer ceremony space, the bride and groom met to be married with a nice big hearth staring at them from the other end of the aisle. The intimate space had Christmas trees, draped lights and more for a wholly magical ceremony.

The magic didn’t stop there, as the officiant finally declared the spell so to speak, and allowed the bride and groom to kiss, officially becoming husband and wife. But wait, there’s more! Following their ceremony, the newlyweds and pals headed outside for a sleigh ride through the winter wonderland!

Everyone else retired for some liquid warmth, patiently waiting in the cozy lodge for the return of the newlyweds for the reception. Once they arrived, the ceremony space was splendidly transformed into the reception area and soon the partying began. Cake and dancing prompted everyone to join in on the fun and keeping up the heat.

Thank you again to Allysa and Jake for picking Best Made Videos® to film their wedding! We hope your first month of marriage has been full of love and warmth! Have any questions or comments? Did you traipse through the snow on your wedding day? Let us know below!
