How did you guys meet?: Our love story began at Home Depot in 2014 where we both working in the Asset Protection Department. We both had a passion for catching bad guys, and we were damn good at it! We were known as the Dynamic Duo by our bosses and coworkers because there was no pair that worked as well together as we did. We always knew what each other was thinking without having to say it; we were completely in sync. I had the biggest work crush and I later found out the feeling was mutual. We had to keep our crush a secret because technically, being co-workers we weren't allowed to date. But, there were rumors going around Home Depot that we continued to deny. Eventually, our undeniable bond grew so strong that we had to make the rumors true.Since we’ve met, we've gone on numerous hiking adventures, amazing vacations, become fur parents, and we’ve even become homeowners! We have realized that we bring the best out in each other and wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible partnership we’ve developed.
Tell us about the proposal!: He proposed in JAMAICA! We were at an all-inclusive resort for our birthday celebration (his b-day is on 6/19 and mine is 6/20). One night, he booked a private beach dinner with the other couple we went with. He said "before it gets to dark, we should get some pictures by the ocean". He stepped me up onto a bench and told me to look towards the ocean and then he asked me to turn around. When I did, he was on one knee. I was so excited, I didn't even wait for him to ask me the question before I wrapped my body around his. It was a magical moment <3
Why did you choose your venue?: Our wedding planner found it! We like it because it's simple, rustic, and close to where I grew up. Plus, the owner of the venue was my sister's cheer coach when she was 6!
What are you most excited to see in the video?: This is probably going to sound cheesy, but just the way our love radiates for one another. We want to see how much fun our friends and family are having as well!
When and where's the honeymoon?!?!: We are going to Belize!
