Are you staying warm? Did you miss us?? We had a feeling, so we are back with some more crazy wedding news to take you away from all the messy political stuff and the Super Bowl whirlwind. Don’t worry, our stories can be equally as weird and wild, like heists, eye-color changes, and plenty of burgers. Yep, these are all wedding stories, so buckle in and get ready for the ride.
Weddings can be pretty draining, especially when you’re the bride, groom or part of the bridal party. Near the end of their wedding day, Jordan and Arianne Moore, as well as some of their friends, were still feeling pretty hungry. Once the rest of the party was wrapped up, they decided to hop on down to the local Whataburger for some grub.
The thing is: they didn’t have time to change their clothes. So they strolled on in with all of their wedding attire still on, only to have the restaurant play along. Take a look at the video of the two “walking down the aisle,” and note that the restaurant even gave them a lovely card. The bride’s sister posted the news to the internet and Twitter in hopes of scoring the newlyweds free burgers for a year--now that would have been a wedding present!
Now we have had a lot of very disturbing stories come out lately about ridiculous bridezillas who supply their bridal parties with horrible tasks, unrealistic monetary requests, and sometimes lists of rules.
This new one fits right in, if not then it’s even weirder than you would want to believe. Recently, a woman posted on Facebook inquiring about a rather curious request: would it be alright to have her bridesmaids wear colored contacts so as to not “clash with her dress.”
That’s right: this lady wants her party to wear colored contacts to make sure their little eyes don’t match or clash with her dress. But don’t you worry: she promises to pay for any color...except blue. Check out the article for a few more bridezillas and dress mishaps!

Well, this one is not entirely wedding related (though there certainly have been weddings involved before) but White Castle is now taking reservations for Valentine’s Day. We aren’t blessed with a chain up here (if you’re desperate, you can find their stuff in the frozen section) but it’s nice to think about all the happy couples making their way in for some burgers and fries.
You can find a full list of the restaurants allowing for reservations on Valentine’s Day through the link above, though the drive/flight probably won’t be worth it as you’re looking at Minnesota or Chicago for the closest branch.
Our final story this time focuses on the wedding of Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham. After proposing to Becca on The Bachelor, Arie shortly broke up with her and started pursuing the runner up, Lauren. Well, they are officially married and with it comes some stories about their ceremony.
Held in Hawaii just a few weeks ago, their wedding was actually a hugely inspired by...Twilight. Specifically Breaking Dawn. Now, most of us were done with Twilight about 8 years ago, but for whatever reason it keeps coming back. Nonetheless, in the case of this wedding, it worked in spades. Their lovely ceremony, surrounded by trees, adorable wooden chairs and all of their friends and family, was not without emotions as Ari immediately burst into tears when his bride approached. The two tied the knot and have been utterly ecstatic ever since! Congratulations!
