It has been over 13 years since we lost Steve Irwin, the famed animal expert, but thankfully his spirit thrives in his kids Bindi and Robert. The latter is a spitting-image of his father, though it’s the former we are talking about today: because she is getting married!
As someone who has gone toe-to-toe with some frightening animals, Bindi is underway on the daunting task of planning her wedding with fiance Chandler Powell. The article talks about some of the challenges they have already completed, like cake-testing, finding her gown, and landing on the venue (the Australia Zoo, no less!) Here’s to hoping they have a wonderful wedding filled with awesome animals!
A lot of couples think that as soon as you throw the word “marriage counselor” out there, it means that things are on the rocks. That is by no means close to the truth at all, in fact some couples use one before marriage so they can enter into it on the same page and wavelength.
Enter Rev. Roxanne “Roxy” Birchfield. Along with her husband, who happens to be a former Survivor contestant, these two chaplains both serve as officiants and counselors. According to the article, every single one of the marriages they have counseled are still together!
Be sure to check out their article for a few key tips on getting married!

Wouldn’t you know it? We have another zany story from the UK. Is it something in the water? Or just all the beer and scotch that fuels a bunch of these ideas? Anyway, a bride and groom wanted to put a real spin on their ceremony, so they decided to swap roles.
Bobby Cook and Ciara O’Donnell came dressed for their big day, but not in the usual attire. Ciara “donned a tuxedo alongside her three bridesmaids while Bobby put on a frock and tiara.”
Apparently it was enough to make them the “talk of the town,” and they appeared in a variety of articles discussing their decision. It was joked that, “Ciara wears the trousers in the relationship, so it made sense for her to don the same at the wedding.”
What do you think? Is this something you could see being pulled off at your wedding? Let us know below!
