Welcome everyone to another page turning installment of Bizarre Wedding New. The summer sun is burning hot, and that means wedding season is booming. Don’t worry, in between those lovely videos of people getting married we want to make sure you are up to date with all of the weird wedding news going on around the world. This week, we have got some violence, sadness, and a few happy announcements to share, so buckle up because it’s time to get educated!

In case you missed the Jonas/Chopra wedding, which saw several days of intense celebration over in India, there’s even more Mumbai weddings that have sent shockwaves through the wedding vine. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta had a massive wedding, reportedly “one of the most expensive weddings in the country’s history,” and we have already mentioned this before. They even had a pre-wedding celebration in which Coldplay, Maroon 5 and Chainsmokers performed.
YouTube star Bhuvan Bam decided to have some fun with the ritzy wedding videos, dubbing over them and throwing in some of his own creations. The result is some hilarious fun that hopefully Ambani and Mehta don’t take too much offense to!
Your wedding photos and videos are your primary time machine in bringing you back to the big day. It was one of the highlights of your life and being able to relive every memory, song, dance and bite of cake that made your wedding oh-so special is so crucial to the whole experience. But as the world is round, there are some people who create unnecessary suffering.
Jessica Craney had hired Gary Helland to shoot her wedding, for the “promotional price” of about $2,000. This package entailed a large canvas photo and twin photo books. Craney only received the canvas photo, but not after significant pestering. She has been married for over three years. She hired an outside company to help get the books, but he never answered the door. He later told Craney “some things slipped between the sofa cushion.” For a week, sure. But not for three years. We have yet to hear if she has finally received them.

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are a pretty big deal to us. The scintillating gossip and drama eventually (or should I say hopefully?) lead to a big proposal at the end of the season. Former Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, has finally got a date in mind for her wedding, and a location. She is planning on “somewhere in the Caribbean in August.” To us, that sounds pretty grand!
She also had some interesting opinions on the rumors suggesting Khloe Kardashian joining The Bachelorette. She goes on to say, “I mean, I feel like she’s tried everything else, so why not try the show?” She finishes it off by suggesting, “It’s worked for me. I think I was a little shocked with how aggressively she said she wasn’t going to do it.” What do you think? Should she?

This last story is possibly one of our most thrilling (it involves the police and jail). Imagine having a wonderful beachfront wedding, a bright sunny sky in Florida, and you are snapping some photos…when all of a sudden some stranger starts photobombing your shots. How many times would you ask them to stop before finally doing something more drastic?
Jeffery E. Alvord had to come to that conclusion the hard way. After supposedly asking photobomber Trevor Mooney to move several times, even offering him cash, there was a moment where everything boiled over and Alvord struck Mooney in “supposed self-defense,” promptly breaking his nose and glasses. The police arrived and everyone had their own version of the story, though many claimed that Mooney’s version was full of crap. Alvord then spent what should’ve been his wedding night in jail, but he got hitched shortly after getting out of jail.
