How did you guys meet? We matched on Bumble, chatted a few days before arranging for a Tuesday night meet up at Linda's Tavern in Cap Hill. Ended up staying for several drinks and chatting about Game of Thrones and sports. Jake was a gentleman and walked me back to my apartment.
Tell us about the proposal!: After 4 years of dating and 2 years of pandemic, planned a trip to Oahu. After a fun morning of snorkeling with turtles, Jake called me out on the balcony of our hotel to check out the mountain and view. And then dropped to his knee--who knows what he said cuz I was just saying 'oh shit' over and over--and I know this cuz he captured it all on his Go Pro. Spent the last two days of our trip in bliss.
Why did you choose your venue?: Love the room layout and the industrial vibes. Also excited to have Herban Feast catering as part of the venue.
What are you most excited to see in the video?: The top moments I'm excited to capture are getting ready, the first look, our ceremony and our first dance. And would also love to see all the people who came to celebrate with us!
When and where's the honeymoon?!?!: We are mini-mooning right after at the Post Hotel in Leavenworth. And still working through the real honeymoon--should we go southeast Asia or Caribbean?
