It has certainly been a chilly winter up here in the Pacific Northwest, though we don’t really have much room to complain this week when a good portion of the country is literally colder than Antarctica. A few weeks ago we made our way over to Bonney Lake, and specifically to Kelley Farm for the Gaston wedding. While we were blessed with a dry day, it didn’t help with the cold. Luckily, Kelley Farm is ready for whatever need with multiple ceremony locations (yes, there’s indoor ones for days just like this, and heated floors). Offering up several catering partners, enough space for more than three hundred people, and a curfew of midnight, The Kelley Farm really wants you to eat up and party the night away!
The Gastons were greeted with gray skies for their wedding, but some warming spirits were nearby to take away the biting cold. Looking especially dapper in grey suits with maroon vests and ties, the boys had some fun...horsing...around in front of the barn while the ladies were a little calmer in their warm dressing rooms. Once the room was just about bursting with excitement for the big day, it was time for the first look!
Greeting her groom outside the barn, the first look was so sweet. That wonderful mix of nervous and excited let the bashfulness shine through. We were able to walk around the farm with them as they posed along with the rustic setting, green trees and soothing gray skies. Eventually gathering again in front of the barn, this time with the rest of the bridal party, we got some wide shots of the massive group.
Soon enough, though probably not soon enough for the bride and groom, it was time for the wedding. As everyone filled the impressive wood barn, with twinkling lights and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, the groom could hardly contain himself--especially when he saw his bride approaching.
Try to get through the vows and speeches read by their loved ones without crying--we dare you. A loving, spiritual ceremony saw the tying of the knot for Andrea and Jeffrey, and there was hardly a dry eye to be seen, especially for the bride and groom. With the magic words spoken by the officiant, there was only really one thing left to do: kiss and become husband and wife.
After a dip that probably gave Andrea whiplash, the newlyweds left the ceremony hall with their namesake song...from none other than Beauty and the Beast (hopefully it didn’t take you this long to recognize the name!)
The reception to follow was the cap to a spectacular day. Silly props for the photo booth provided plenty of smiles (though there were already plenty), as did the dozens of cupcakes. Eating turned into dancing, and then in the blink of an eye the night was over and it was time to head home.
Congratulations to Andrea and Jeffrey on your wedding and thank you again for choosing Best Made Videos® to film it! We hope the first few weeks have gone magically.

How did you guys meet?
Andrea took her brother out to a bar to celebrate his 21st birthday, albeit a little late, and to be his wingman. Jeff just so happened to go out to that same bar that night to hang out with friends. He was standing by the dance floor talking to people and he looked over Andrea's direction several times and would smile at her. Though she had already noticed and would smile back, Andrea's brother, Jacob, noticed that he kept smiling as well, and said loudly (so that Jeff heard) "Sis, that guy keeps smiling at you." Andrea was pretty much obligated to talk to Jeff at that point, since he was standing there chuckling about what had just happened. From that moment on, Jeff never stopped talking to her and they fell madly in love.
Tell us about the proposal!
On February 19, 2018, Andrea and Jeff had decided that they wanted to do a family day. The activity that Jeff suggested was to go and paint ceramics in Gig Harbor down by the water. Jeff wanted everyone to dress up and he made Andrea change out of her comfy clothes and into something fancier. Andrea thought it was weird, but Jeff used Andrea's love of taking pictures together as his reasoning. Jeff got Andrea's friend Alisa to come along with her children and they all hung out and painted different ceramics. Jeff seemed quieter than normal and very antsy. As they were finishing up, Andrea's parents called her, asking if they wanted to go to lunch. After Andrea agreed, Jeff told her that they first had to go to a look out point in the harbor to take their family picture first. What Andrea didn't know is that Jeff had already asked her parents to meet them up at the lookout point and to put flowers on a bench that said "Andrea, For making me a Happy Man. Turn Around". And there, as Andrea turned around while surrounded by her family, Jeffrey was already on one knee, holding open a box with a beautiful ring inside!
