How did you guys meet?: We actually met a wedding. Afterwards, I noticed that Jeff started to show up to more of our mutual friends gatherings and that he would drive all the way from Stanwood, WA to Seattle for a haircut by me. I just thought I gave a really good haircut. Few months later, he finally asked me out on a date and we officially started dating early 2016.
Tell us about the proposal!: Seven years later, he proposed to me in Belfast, N. Ireland. My dads side of the family is there and Jeff later admitted he always planned to propose there. But covid and other life events got in the way. We were finally able to plan a trip for him to meet my family over there and I was too focused on them meeting that a proposal wasn't on mind. I was hopeful though, haha! He proposed to me in the Dark Hedge, a popular Northern Ireland destination. He coordinated with my cousin, who is a wedding photographer in Belfast to hide out and get the shots of the proposal. Little did I know, he had the whole family involved and they threw us an engagement party that night.
Why did you choose your venue?: Rosehill checked all the boxes. Affordable, close to I5, close to an airport, beautiful views, and close to most of our family. Most of our guests are traveling in from out of town so we wanted to find somewhere convenient for them to get to.
What are you most excited to see in the video?: Candid shots with our loved ones and guests. As well as the ceremony, speeches and the views around the venue.
When and where's the honeymoon?!?!: Sept 26 - Oct 13th - Greece (athens & santorini) and Italy (Sorrento, almalfi coast)
