“Best day of my life!”
Like two lovers intertwined by fate, we found ourselves once again at the fabled Golf Club at Newcastle. Unlike a few of our last posts, this time we were able to get it on a warm spring day just on the verge of becoming summer. For a reminder, or if you’re just joining us for the first time, the Golf Club is one of our most frequent stomping grounds. Perched on a lofty hill, the prestige golf course caters to sightseers and golfers alike. With all of the accouterments of the finest wedding venues in the land, there’s really no surprise why we keep coming back—and we’re more than happy to!
Early morning beer and wine greeted the bride and groom as they began the momentous task of getting ready for their wedding. As William and Whitlee looked spiffy in their wardrobes, the guys rocked grey vests and suits while the bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses. More drinks followed, if only to ease the high stress atmosphere so commonly associated with wedding days.
Meeting for their first look, the look of pure emotion on Whitlee’s face was worth a million bucks. To our great happiness, the Golf Club boasts some of the prettiest views and backdrops we’ve ever seen, so the shots we got of the two as they walked around hand-in-hand were simply marvelous. Radiant smiles shone bright as we even got them in front of a little waterfall! After the two of them had time just by themselves, the rest of the party headed on out to the mounds to get some group photos against the misty background.
As everyone gathered for the ceremony, the altar looked out across the region offering up one of the most gorgeous setups we’ve seen for a wedding. Once the vows started, it became all too clear just how many powerful emotions these two share for each other. William’s vows inspired both riotous laughter and his happy tears as he listed off his flaws that the two now have a lifetime to work on. Finishing up his speech with one last chuckle, he held the microphone for Whitlee as she almost immediately bursted into tears. Sobbing throughout her vows, she eventually exclaims “I just love him.” Not too long after, the two spoke the magic words, the officiant told them to kiss, and all at once they were married.
After the tears were dried, everyone made their way to the reception where they were greeted with drinks, food, and eventually the newlyweds as they made their arrival following the document signing. A night of vivacious celebration followed; the DJ cranked up the tunes and everyone got to dancing and having fun. To cap off an already wonderful day, the guests sent off the newlyweds with a sparkler tunnel.
Thank you again to Whitlee and William for choosing Best Made Videos to film their wedding! We hope the first year of your marriage has been filled with as much happiness and joy as your big day was.
