“I am so thrilled with the quality of video we received for our wedding. Reid and his team were so wonderful right from the start. We weren’t sure if a videographer was in our budget and ended up having two gentleman from Best Made at our big day, and it was one of the best things we spent our money on. We will forever get to relive our wedding day, the toasts, and ceremony thanks to them, and I can not recommend them highly enough. Spend your money here, you will not regret it!”
Just a short drive north of Seattle’s beautiful Magnuson Park lies the equally as pretty Sand Point Country Club. Proclaiming to be the only Country Club with all of the amenities of one in the Seattle area, it certainly lives up to one’s expectations when you see just how gorgeous the grounds are. It even over looks Pontiac Bay on Lake Washington for some awesome sunrises, though we didn’t get the chance to see any for the Winterscheid’s wedding day.
A late-October wedding, the day started out chilly and damp–though the spirits were warm and high. Some late dry-cleaning slowed down the prep, but the maintenance was worth it as everyone–both ladies and gents–looked to the point. Blue ties and tan belts looked classy along with the blue dresses donned by the bridesmaids. Meeting outside the country club, Matthew and Alyse’s first look required the most traditional Seattle tool…an umbrella.
Though it was literally raining on their “parade,” the bride and groom smiled all through it as we headed for cover and some more adorable photos. The rest of the group soon joined in on the fun, and risking ruining their finely tailored suits they ventured out into the rainy October morning. Even if it was a little unpleasant, the fallen leaves and misty skies made for some really fantastic shots. This wonderful photo location is on Queen Anne, just down the street from the hustle and bustle of Kerry park.
Heading over to St. Anne’s the wedding ceremony was a peaceful and spiritual, with a splendid stained glass window flanking the altar, as the two opened up their hearts to each other and God. As the priest read the bride and groom’s letters to each other aloud, their deep love for not only each other, but for God, came ever apparent. The excitement and happiness they share was already known with their smiles, but the words only confirmed it. As the two kissed, they sealed their union and were officially married.
Following the ceremony, the gang headed over to Sand Point for the reception. The luxurious interior to an already superb venue made this reception feel almost like royalty. Massive banquet tables that seemed to go on endlessly, delicious food and fine wine, and the hoard of guests filled the event space. As the newlyweds emerged triumphantly, the good times got kicked off immediately as everyone dug into their food.
A decadent white chocolate cake got the slice during the cake-cutting, which lead into an intimate first dance between Matthew and Alyse. Group dancing followed as the entire dance floor filled with guests, I don’t think there was a single person sitting down! Unfortunately the night had to end at some point, and soon everyone went off on their separate ways.
Happy six month anniversary to the Winterscheid’s! We hope your time being married has been as wonderful as your wedding day was. Thank you again for choosing Best Made Videos to film your big day!
