How did you guys meet?: We graduated from graduate school around the same time (Sep. 2019) and came to Seattle for work. We met during a Lunar New Year party organized by a common friend. They hang out during COVID and things work out.
Tell us about the proposal!: In October 2021, we visited LA together, where Xiaohan spent 5 years for his Phd study. On October 24, he proposed in the Griffith Observatory and she said yes. This was supposed to be a surprise but she kind of already knew what was going to happen.
Why did you choose your venue?: The skyline/view from the venue is fantastic so we fell in love with it at our first sight.
What are you most excited to see in the video?: To see the happy&moving moments during the wedding. To see what we did not notice during the wedding.
When and where's the honeymoon?!?!: To Hawaii Island, right after the wedding.
