You may have heard of Joe Scarborough (singer-songwriter) and Mika Brzezinski from their talk show, Morning Joe, on MSNBC, or you at least heard about Trump ragging on Mika’s plastic surgery. Nevertheless, the two secretly got married back in November, after having been engaged since May of 2017. Their romantic engagement in France prompted them to plan for a Nantucket wedding this past spring, though their plans appear to have been altered as they celebrated a secret wedding right before the holiday season.
While probably not our go-to for romantic destination, they held their small ceremony at the National Archives in DC right in front of the Bill of Rights and Constitution. If this was all a big ploy for an actual National Treasure heist, I would be pleasantly delighted, however it seems as though it was pretty quick before they headed off to Chez Billy Sud for the reception.

Ready to get a little annoyed? Apologies in advance.
At the beginning of November, a soon-to-be engaged woman, who remains nameless, discovered that her boyfriend was getting ready to propose to her after discovering an engagement ring. As most people would silently celebrate with baited breath while their significant other carefully planned to pop the question, this girl instead went to a Facebook group where others post about silly engagement stuff.
Making fun of the ring herself, she also called on others to supply their own roasts, as well as advice on how to perhaps get her boyfriend to get her a better ring. By this point you’re probably thinking, “what a loser, he should dump her.”
Alas, as she has remained nameless there has been no follow up to her jerkery, though this is one engagement we really can’t get 100% behind! Who knows, maybe she was really just messing around?
In order to make up for that last downer, we are closing this week of with an awesome story about one of the funniest and adorable proposals ever. During a wedding, newlywed Natalie opted out of tossing her bouquet, and instead walked up to her friend Kirsty and simply handed it to her.
Why, you ask?
Because her boyfriend Joe was ready and waiting on one knee to pop the big question!
Unbelievable, right? Typically, the bouquet toss is a cute little ritual that many don’t put much faith into actually playing out its superstitions, but this time it did! And she said yes! Check out the video for yourself!
