Welcome back everyone to our favorite weekly Bizarre Wedding News update! We hope you are enjoying the wonderful weather, though it looks like there is some rain in the forecast! From the looks of it, things are slowly starting to open up around the country – whether or not that is a smart idea remains to be seen, but we are trying to be as optimistic as possible! We are back this time with the most secret celebrity weddings, most expensive cakes, and some good news out of Texas.
It’s no surprise that celebrities get tired of being in the spotlight. With papparazzi chasing them down streets, snapping dozens of photos simply for going on a walk, it would make sense that any celebrity would want their wedding ceremony to be a little under wraps. The Blast digs into four recent weddings that were kept entirely secret until after the knot was tied.
The first of which is Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who got hitched after an awards show last year in Vegas, no less. Their entire event had been live-streamed by Diplo as well, so there was at least some press coverage. Check out the article for the rest of the list!
It feels like it has been ages since we got to see a wedding. At least in Texas, weddings are slowly starting to happen again. Thanks to some executive orders, couples are finally getting hitched, though they have to follow some strict rules. For instance, indoor ceremonies are possible but only if the capacity is capped at 25%. Outdoor weddings can also still happen, but social distancing rules must still be applied.
It remains to be seen when weddings up here in Washington will get going again, but we think it will be relatively soon!

Last up is our favorite subject: cake! This one, however, is about the most expensive celebrity cakes, which will definitely make your mouth water and your wallet cry. Cake is a tough decision to make, as it is often not the most important part of the entire day, and the money spent on some massive, extravagant piece of art that will be eaten quickly may be better saved for a nicer venue or otherwise.
Ranging from as low as 500 Euros to as much as 15K, the list of names will surprise you. Alas, it isn’t royalty who holds the top spot on this list: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hold the actual crown with the aforementioned 15K.
