Each day that passes is just another step closer to finally being able to go out into the world again. The quarantine presses onwards, but the sun is going to be shining bright this weekend, so there are some things to look forward to...just remember your sunscreen! At least there will be some limitations being lifted soon as well!
In case you missed our overview of the Ochs Wedding, be sure to check it out! We are returning for a Behind the Scenes look at their magical day at The Golf Club at Newcastle.

Valeria and Garett are another case for the success of online dating, though you never would have expected their origin story. Garett and Valeria shared a number of connections, and they even went to the same college, but it was not until Garett swiped right on a gag photo on her profile that the two met. The proposal, however, did not involve any funny jokes: it was on a secluded beach while on vacation in Spain!
Their wedding day at the ever-impressive Golf Club at Newcastle had us arrive in the afternoon. The final touches were going on, but there was a little time for some golf practice. Alex White was photographer for the day, and we quickly got to work getting the last moments of getting ready captured. At 3:25, the bride and groom (and pup, of course) met for their First Look out by the links. Meanwhile, the DJ was arriving and tables were being set with linen. By 4pm, we had tons of footage of the betrothed and the florists were finishing up inside.
Next came the bridal party photos, first the ladies, then the gents. At 5:15, everything was to be set in place so guests may arrive. Alex White started her detail shots, and at 5:30 the bride was hidden away to prepare for the ceremony! Six o’clock marked the start of the ceremony, held in a grand tent filled with white chairs. By 6:30, the groom and bride were now husband and wife, so the cocktails started to flow.
Family photos occupied the hour after the ceremony, until the newlyweds emerged at 7:40 for dinner. An hour later, it was time for toasts, followed by Valeria’s Russian tradition in lieu of your regular old cake-cutting. This made way into the first dances (along with the donut wall being opened for guests), followed by the traditional tosses. Open dancing kicked off at 9:45 and everyone was eager to get on the floor. The partying would keep going on even after we left, though we still got to do a sparkler “send off” with the newlyweds for good measure!
Thank you once again to Valeria and Garett for choosing Best Made Videos® to film their wedding day! We hope your first year has been magnificent.
