As we keep getting further into the quarantine, we are still seeing impromptu weddings and other very intimate gatherings keeping matrimony alive and well. In case you missed our Bizarre Wedding News with Bindi Irwin’s wedding, be sure to give it a read! We are back this time with our "behind the Scenes" look into the Zeigler wedding. Nearly all of the elements of the wedding were done by someone connected to the bride and groom; in fact Haley even did her own cake! Sounds exciting? Let’s take a look!

If ever there was a plot for a perfect romance movie, John and Haley met at their very first class in culinary school. Best friends from the very start, they would be nearly inseparable in between work, school and “just hanging out as friends.” Sometimes the most obvious thing is right in front of your nose and you don’t even know it, and they “realized we were meant to be more than just best friends, but soul mates for life.” See, movie plot?
We arrived at the ever-delightful Maroni Meadows at 10am, just in time for the preparations to begin. Along with Jenny GG Photography, we got to taking pics of everyone getting ready with Latecia Farrell. By 11:30, everyone was about ready and so it was time for the first look. Flowers by Tiffany was busy getting the floristry in place, while Lynwood Pro Audio was helping Spencer and Jim Langston (Haley’s brother and dad) get ready for their MC duties, along with Windsong Trio for the ceremony music. Once John and Haley had their splendid first look, the rest of the family and bridal party got in on the photos for about an hour.
Guests started to arrive at 1:30, with the bar opening shortly after. Able to accommodate up to 200 guests, and with a plethora of other amenities including various outdoor and indoor areas, fire pits, ponds, as well as awesome changing areas, Maroni Meadows is an excellent place to spend a day without any complaints. As was mentioned last time, the officiant was none other than Rod Zeigler (who with a name like that could’ve been mistaken as a movie star), the groom’s father who was beyond excited to wed his son. Just after 2pm, the ceremony kicked off and in the blink of an eye (maybe that was the tears) we had newlyweds!
With food done by Alexa’s Catering, and everyone eager for the bride’s personally handmade cake, the rest of the day was (for a wedding of two people who met in culinary school) simply "magnifique", finger kiss and all. Following the cocktail hour, dinner was served at 4pm, and so began the rest of the events for the evening. By 8pm, everything was all wrapped up, though the send off for the bride and groom happened at about 7 with a healthy dosing of bubbles.
Thank you once again to Haley and John for choosing Best Made Videos® to film your wedding day! We hope you are having a wonderful time being married.
