“Omg that was INCREDIBLE!!! I’m speechless!!! Thank you so much for creating this, you captured everything so beautifully!!! Wow truly my dream wedding video.”
October is a decidedly different time for a wedding, especially in the Pacific Northwest. The vibrant, lush greens that fill the forests with life and vivacity are replaced by orangish, yellow hues that signal the change in the season. As a result, many of the venues that we see at peak wedding season are sometimes unrecognizable, but that doesn’t mean they don’t retain their charm and beauty. Take the Golf Club at Newcastle for example; during the summer it is buzzing with golfers and sightseers alike. During the Fall, offseason golfers still dot the fairways, but the crisper weather brings a more relaxing aura and falling leaves drop from the trees that line the driveway up to the golf club.
The Schroeder’s wedding got off to your usual Pacific Northwest fall start. Grey clouds filled the skies while everyone got ready in the toasty interiors. A sparkly white wedding dress worn by Elizabeth was gorgeously contrasted by the even sparklier golden ones worn by her entourage of bridesmaids. Greeting her groom out on the back overlook for the First Look, Elizabeth looked spellbinding in her dress as the skies cleared enough to catch a glimpse of Seattle. With exuberant emotion, William turned around to greet his bride as they embraced.
Looking more like a movie premiere and less of a wedding, the entire bridal party lined up for photos as the men stunned in matching tuxedos across from the already dazzling ladies. Everyone put on their best smiles as they endured the chilly, windy peaks up on Newcastle. The effort was worth it, as evidence by the video (which even includes an instant replay!), with the vast region crawling out behind them and beyond. We followed the happy couple around the grounds some more as they posed in cute, adorable ways. Family photos followed afterwards, but before too long, it was time to head back inside for the wedding ceremony!
A stately event room, full of magnificent flowers and grand windows, served just superbly for the wedding. As the ceremony got going, it was abundantly clear the love these two share for each other, with both bride and groom reducing to tears before they could even kiss. The excitement and joy was almost palpable, and then—when the words were announced—the two brought it in for a passionate, swooning kiss.
As they headed off to sign the business and sip on champagne, the guests got a chance to explore the sprawling golf course and take in the sweeping vistas. Celebrations began almost immediately with celebratory drinks on the mounds that overlooked the region. We could’ve spent all week with the two as they roamed around the property as newlyweds, but we had to get back inside for the reception!
After cutting into their pristine cake, the two shared their first dance which was capped off by the lowest of dips. Following the dance with their parents, everyone else hopped onto the dance floor, from babies to grandparents, and got to working their booties. With it being fall, the sun disappeared pretty early, but the party kept on going! Before it was too late, we got a chance to head back outside with the newlyweds for a few more shots. The sun had lowered to a glistening yellow and orange, rather than the reds and pinks so synonymous with summer, which lit the two in just the right way.
Thanks again to William and Elizabeth for choosing Best Made Videos to film their wedding! We hope that your first year has been filled with happiness and love!
