Well folks, we have officially come to one of our last weddings from 2019. Oh, what a world it was back then. Even though we are winding down our recaps of NEW wedding videos, it doesn’t mean it will be the last we see of last year’s weddings. We will be back soon with our Favorites of 2019 Countdown, so do be on the lookout for that. In the meantime, let us take a trip to the Olympic View Estates up in Lake Stevens for our final summer wedding, the Stotts’!
In proper Pacific Northwest fashion, the day started off with grey clouds that would burn off by mid-afternoon to reveal a lovely blue sky. Shelby and Paul were in the final stages of getting ready, while his pals were practicing their putting game. Once the suit and dress were adorned and letters were written, Paul stood waiting out in a little clearing. His bride approached from beyond and had one of the funniest first look introductions ever...we probably shouldn't repeat it here.
From then onwards it was a series of lovely moments; traipsing back through the clearing, sneaking kisses here and there, and a romantic golf club pose. These two clearly could not keep their hands off of each other, and we were more than happy to capture it on film! The wedding party came out and joined us shortly after, and they were plenty excited to keep the fun times going.
Their families came out once the wedding party had enough photos taken, and by this point the weather was nothing but perfect. With plenty of energy built, there was nothing else to do but get hitched. The ceremony space was so wonderful, with a view behind the altar that took all of our breaths away. Certainly, this had to be one of the reasons why these two wanted to get married here.
After reading their own handwritten vows, the officiant spoke the magic words, giving permission for the two to kiss. Paul and Shelby were now husband and wife! Overflowing with emotion, they made their way back down the aisle so they could go get the paperwork signed. Once they had collected themselves, they made their grand entrance to the reception and the party got going.
The buffet opened and people started feasting, filling themselves up for hours of dancing. A photo booth was opened and toasts were given, leading into the first dances. Soon, the open dancing began and what a sight it was. Rustic interiors mixed with modern lights made for a wonderful time that made the evening flash by in an instant. Be sure to check out the video for some really fun dances!
Thank you to Shelby and Paul for choosing Best Made Videos® to film their wedding day! We hope you are having a wonderful first year of marriage. Did you enjoy the wedding? Be sure to check back soon for our Behind the Scenes look.

How did you guys meet?
Paul and I were set up on a blind date. Paul's mom Karen gets her hair done at Salon Morado. My cousin Julia owns Salon Morado. Karen and Julia got to talking and Paul came up in conversation. Karen had told Julia that she was looking for a nice girl for her son, but he is very sarcastic. Julia said, "I know the perfect girl, she is also very sarcastic." So Julia had given Karen my phone number and Paul soon texted me. We met for dinner and our date turned into three hours. We were a perfect blend of sarcasm, love, and laughter.
Tell us about the proposal!
Paul and I bought our first home October 2017. Paul had just torn his ACL and was scheduled to have surgery, but he knew he wanted to propose before surgery because he knew he wasn't going to be able to get down on one knee for awhile. So on November 2nd Paul had popped the question in our new home with flowers and candles everywhere! I had no idea it was coming, he did a good job keeping it a secret.
Why did you choose your venue?
I knew once I saw the view and the landscaping, Paul would love it. It also helped that the grooms room has their own putting green inside. It is so beautiful and so close to our house. I really loved the ceremony seating!! I always wanted it to be easy for everyone to see.
What are you most excited to see in the video?
